This website is intended to provide information about Portsmouth's history, its attractions and recent events using video clips. All information on this website is available totally free of charge. When encoding the video clips it was necessary to find a stream setting that allowed for good quality but at a small clip size to enable faster streaming. This may lead to slight distortion of the audio or video which we apologise for. We aim to add new events and information as and when we are able to in an attempt to keep the website up to date.

Since the beginning of 2009 the events have been filmed in High Definition and there is now a new section on the website with clips of the events in High Definition, this is however limited to 3 minutes for each event due to the very large file size, each clip is in the region of 150-200MB. Click here to go to the High Definition section.
